Definition of DNS (Domain Name System):
DNS (Domain Name System) is a system that stores information about host names or domains in the form of distributed databases (distributed databases) on computer networks, for example: the Internet. This Domain Name System is a naming system used for computers, services, or resources that are connected to the Internet or private networks. DNS usually uses a Domain Name Service to complete requests for website names to be IP addresses for the purpose of finding computer services and devices around the world.
According to Wikipedia, the notion of DNS (Domain Name System) is a system that stores information about host names or domain names in the form of scattered databases (distributed databases) on computer networks, for example: the Internet. DNS provides the IP address for each hostname and records every mail exchange server that receives e-mail for each domain. According to the Google Chrome browser, DNS is a network service that changes website names to internet addresses.
DNS (Domain Name System) Functions:
The basic function of DNS (Domain Name System) is to translate or translate ip addresses into domain names and vice versa. For example, the addresses facebook.com, google.com, and other sites are the ip addresses of these sites which are then translated into domain names.
Benefits of DNS (Domain Name System):
The most common benefit of the DNS (Domain Name System) is of course to make it easier for users to access the site that we make. In general humans are easier to remember words than to remember numbers, therefore internet users will be easier to remember our site address in the form of a domain name rather than in the form of an ip address.
